Ms. Ortiz is from Chicago, Illinois (USA). She earned a bachelor’s degree in Secondary English Education as well as an IB certificate from the same degree program. Before coming to Korea, she taught high school English Literature to freshmen and sophomore (15-16 year old) students at a large school in Illinois.

In her free time, she enjoys trying new drinks from the cafes around her. She finds Korea the perfect place to feed into her tea, coffee, and smoothie addiction.
