Ms. Choi was born and raised in Busan, the second-largest city in South Korea. After university, she worked in a hospital doing administrative tasks related to clinical trials and often had to use business English, which prompted her to resume studying English. This sparked her interest in improving her English skills, so she decided to go to Canada for more experience. Ms. Choi paid for her college tuition and living expenses entirely through her own earnings, which helped her develop independence and a sense of responsibility in Canada. Ms. Choi's year and a half in Canada greatly improved her confidence and was a valuable experience.

After returning to Korea, Ms. Choi continued to learn and try new things, and as someone who enjoys exercising, she decided to pursue it more professionally. Ms. Choi attended university every weekend for two years and earned a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. Luckily, she received a job offer before graduation and started working in kids physical education in Jinju. She felt fulfilled and healed by the time spent with children. With her love for children and experience in administrative work, she was drawn to LIIP.
