Bachelor of Tourism Management and Tourism English Interpretation

Ms. Jang was born in Yeongdong, a small city famous for traditional Korean music. She has played Haegeum, a traditional Korean string instrument, for 15 years. Having been steeped in Korean culture for a long time, she always wanted to promote it abroad. It was only natural for her to major in Tourism Management and English Interpretation. She also fell in love with other cultures when she had the opportunity to study abroad.

After university, she worked in the field of export and quality assurance (QA) for Korean Nuclear Technology at Korea Electric Power Technology (KEPCO E&C). Ms. Jang then moved into working at a 5-star hotel in Yeosu, to put her major into practice. Working at the front desk, she enjoyed a variety of experiences which led to an interest in other areas of customer service, which led her to COLAT and LIIP.

Currently, Ms. Jang lives in Jinju with her husband and daughter. She loves children and is very interested in education. She is continuing to learn about raising children and respecting their individual diversity. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, hitting the gym, and traveling and playing Haegeum.
