Ms. Precious Berbenzana
Head Teacher
Master of Education in Advanced Teaching (ongoing)
Bachelor of Arts in Marketing Management
USA Licensed Teacher
UK Qualified Teacher Standard Licensed
Ms. Berbenzana was raised in a multicultural Christian household in the Philippines. Throughout her education, she studied in an English-only setting and was raised communicating strictly in English. Apart from this, her parents' faith influenced her to discover her love and passion for teaching through Sunday school teaching in her home country. After getting married and moving to South Korea, Ms. Berbenzana continued teaching. For ten years, she has served as a teacher for public, international, and private schools.
Ms. Berbenzana has taught preschool, elementary, middle school, university students, and adults. She believes instruction should be designed by taking students' interests into account and adding an innovative approach to spark curiosity and interest in learning. She creates an engaging and fun learning environment by incorporating activities which engage students in more active learning using various digital platforms, divergent source learning, project-based learning (PBL), English singing, dancing, debate, speech, play, and more.
In addition, Ms. Berbenzana educates her learners in a whole-child approach by responding to their physical, emotional, and intellectual needs. She sees the learning environment as a laboratory where students can participate in the learning process. Through this, learners are more engaged in learning; they are creative problem solvers, effective communicators, and critical thinkers through experimentation and independent thinking. She loves to cook, paint, do trampoline exercises, and sing in her free time.
Ms. Berbenzana taught: Art ESL from September 2019 to January 2022.
