All-Day Temporary Admission
When is a Temporary Admission granted?
A temporary admission is granted to a student who wishes to attend for more than one day. Temporary admissions are only granted in the All-Day program and must be longer than five (5) consecutive days. However long a temporary admission is, it must not be fragmented as the student is expected to keep up with the regular coursework and tests otherwise the temporary admission becomes a disruption to regular students.
Process
- Student has interview with Mr. Park or Mr. Cook (waived if prior LIIP or STEAM student).
- Make an appointment for an SR test to guide placement (can skip if SR score is less than six (6) months old).
- Parent meets with Mr. Park to talk about SR results and placement.
- Student temporarily admitted into the LIIP AD program after:
- Parent completes all paperwork;
- Parent signs a media release form for Student;
- Parent agrees on one of the following paths for textbook procurement:
- used versions,
- color copies (paid for by parent),
- or new textbooks;
- and tuition and other fee(s) are paid.
- Parent checks off these requirements to prepare Student for the LIIP AD:
- Student has adequate supplies (refer to the supply list; check with Ms. Lee if uncertain).
- Parent has read, understood, and explained LIIP's Expectations & Rules to the Student.
- LIIP confirms with Parent that all previous admissions steps have been completed.
- Parent has connected to LIIP with these apps:
- Student begins temporary study in placed grade.
